We’re excited to welcome Dr. Joe Romano to the Chatham Orthopaedics team! Originally from Chicago, Dr. Romano is a highly skilled orthopaedic spine surgeon who brings top-tier expertise to Savannah. After playing football as a walk-on at the University of Notre Dame, he went on to complete his residency at Vanderbilt University and his spine surgery fellowship in Kentucky.
Dr. Romano believes in exploring non-operative treatments first, but when surgery is needed, he approaches each case with the same care as if treating a family member. Outside of work, you can catch him cheering on Notre Dame, golfing, playing pickleball, or traveling. Welcome to the Chatham Orthopaedic Associates family, Dr. Romano!
