We are excited to share that our new NextPatient Waitlist feature has officially rolled out! If you have an upcoming appointment scheduled, you may begin receiving text messages or emails inviting you to join a waitlist for an earlier appointment time!
How it works:
- Sign yourself up directly through the official NextPatient email or text invitation. Our staff cannot sign you up.
- Get a notification if an earlier appointment becomes available with your scheduled provider. Click the link either in your email or text to accept the new appointment time.
- You’ll get a message letting you know your old appointment was cancelled and your new, sooner appointment is confirmed!
This feature is available to only to Established Patients, New Patients, and Established New Problem appointments. Patients must have a valid email or text messaging enabled on their Athena chart to receive notification. This feature excludes physical therapy, injections, or post-op appointments and only applies to your originally scheduled provider.
